The Merida region, located in the heart of the Andes Mountains in western Venezuela, is renowned for its ideal coffee-growing conditions — high elevation, rich volcanic soil, and a mild, consistent climate.

It is home to smallholder farms that use sustainable farming practices, often passed down through generations. Coffee from Merida is known for its clean cup, refined acidity, and distinct character that reflects the terroir of the Andes.

Monte Claro is a less common Arabica variety primarily cultivated in the high-altitude regions of Latin America. Its name, meaning “Clear Mountain,” reflects both its mountainous origin and the clean, elegant cup profile it delivers.

Known for its mild and balanced flavor, Monte Claro offers a delightful combination of caramel, nutty, chocolatey, and fruity notes. It’s appreciated for its resistance to diseases, consistent yields, and ability to produce a refined and aromatic cup — ideal for specialty coffee lovers.

Processed using the washed method, this coffee highlights clarity and balance, making it an ideal choice for daily enjoyment or gourmet experiences. With a medium roast (6/10), it brings out smooth sweetness without overwhelming acidity.
