Black Tea

Choosing black tea
Black tea is made from the leaves of Camellia sinensis. During processing, the leaves undergo controlled oxidation, which develops the tea’s characteristic flavour, aroma and infusion colour. Origin, cultivar and processing shape the flavour profile. Compare the origins and tasting notes of individual teas to find a style you enjoy.
Brewing
Water temperature, the amount of tea and steeping time depend on the tea you choose. Start with the recommendations on the packaging or in the product description. Longer steeping can produce a stronger, more bitter flavour, so adjust the time gradually.
Storage
You can store tea in our resealable pouches. Close the pouch securely after each use and keep it in a dry, dark place, away from heat and strong smells. This helps preserve the tea’s flavour and aroma. Store flavoured teas separately, as tea leaves readily absorb surrounding smells.
