Green Tea

Choosing green tea
Green tea is made from the leaves of Camellia sinensis, which are heated early in processing to stop enzymatic oxidation. This stage is known as fixing. Origin, cultivar and the heating method influence the flavour, aroma and infusion colour. Compare individual tea descriptions and tasting notes when choosing.
Brewing
Green tea is usually brewed with cooler water than black tea. Follow the recommendations on the packaging or in the product description for water temperature, the amount of tea and steeping time. Longer steeping can produce a stronger, more bitter flavour, so adjust the time gradually.
Storage
You can store tea in our resealable pouches. Close the pouch securely after each use and keep it in a dry, dark place, away from heat and strong smells. This helps preserve the tea’s flavour and aroma.
