Sumatra Gayo Highland, coffee 500 g
Sumatra Gayo Highland is a rich, full-bodied coffee with notes of cocoa, hints of spice and a touch of liquorice. Our dark roast (7/10) highlights its depth of flavour, while low acidity helps maintain a pleasant balance.
Sumatra Gayo Highland comes from the Gayo highlands in the Aceh region of the Indonesian island of Sumatra, where coffee is grown at elevations of 1200–1400 m. The coffee is of the Timor variety and undergoes traditional Giling Basah processing, which helps develop its characteristic full body.
Our dark roast (7/10) brings out cocoa notes, complemented by hints of spice and a distinctive liquorice accent. Low acidity lets the coffee’s richness take centre stage — an expressive cup for those who appreciate deep flavour and a full body.
