Sumatra Gayo Highland is an incredibly rich, heavy-bodied, and deeply exotic premium coffee that showcases one of the world's most unique processing methods. Grown on the fertile volcanic soils of the Gayo Highlands in the Aceh region of Sumatra at altitudes of 1200–1400 meters, this coffee is processed using the traditional Gilling Basah (wet-hulled) method. This unique Indonesian technique is highly celebrated for giving the beans their distinctive bluish-green hue and famously wild, complex flavor profile.
This exceptional coffee is characterized by an immensely dense, syrupy texture paired with an incredibly subtle, delicate acidity. The palate is comforted by deep notes of rich cocoa and warming baking spices, beautifully highlighted by a highly distinctive and naturally sweet touch of licorice in the lingering finish. Its woody, spicy aroma and bold character offer a truly adventurous and deeply satisfying cup.
