Snow Buds, white tea

€12.99

A rare and exclusive Chinese white tea from the mountains of Fujian Province, hand-harvested in early spring. Renowned for its unique silvery-downy buds, velvety texture, and a naturally sweet floral-honey profile with soft nutty undertones. A premium whole-leaf tea that can be re-steeped up to 3 times.

Snow Buds (also known as Xue Ya) is one of the most sophisticated, rare, and exquisite treasures in the world of tea. This exclusive white tea is grown high in the mist-shrouded mountains of the famous Fujian Province in China, harvested and processed entirely by hand in very small, strictly limited quantities. The harvest takes place in early spring, capturing the very first downy buds and leaves when they are bursting with vital spring energy and pristine freshness. The leaves and buds are heavily covered in fine, silvery-white downy hairs that look like freshly fallen snow, giving this tea its poetic name.

Snow Buds captivates the palate with its remarkable, natural nectar sweetness and an incredibly velvety, smooth texture. The liquor unfurls delicate notes of mountain wild blossoms and pale honey, beautifully grounded by a subtle, aristocratic hint of toasted nuts that brings an immediate sense of warmth and inner harmony. Free from any flavorings or additives, the exceptional quality of these whole leaves allows for up to 3 consecutive infusions, with each steep revealing new layers of its character. It is the absolute perfect choice for a mindful, quiet morning or a peaceful, relaxing evening ritual.
