The story of Las Hortensias began in 1992, when the farm was acquired by Ana’s father. Since 2014, Ana herself has been managing the estate with passion, dedication, and a modern approach that continues the family’s traditions and unwavering commitment to quality.
Located in the heart of the Dipilto region — one of Nicaragua’s most renowned specialty coffee areas — the farm benefits from a unique microclimate, mineral-rich soil and diverse natural surroundings. These conditions create the perfect environment for cultivating high-quality, expressive coffee. The Dipilto mountain range holds the very first coffee denomination of origin in Nicaragua, highlighting its importance and prestige.
