Cuba Serrano Lavado, coffee 1 kg
Coffee from mountain plantations - Sierra Maestra, from where coffee has a long tradition. The first of these coffee plantations was created around 1748. Coffee has a sweet aroma with caramel-nut notes. Taste is balanced, sweet, with cocoa and cane sugar accent.
Cuba Serrano Lavado is an exclusive, remarkably smooth, and highly prestigious premium coffee that stands as a true rarity. Due to trade restrictions and the fact that nearly 80% of local production is consumed within Cuba, this single-origin coffee is exceptionally hard to find on the European market. It is sourced from the lush mountains of the Sierra Maestra region, an area steeped in coffee-growing heritage where the first plantations were established back in 1748.
The gentle Caribbean climate and lower growing altitudes (600–800 meters) impart an incredibly low acidity and a natural, deep sweetness to this 100% Typica crop. Roasted to a beautifully bold and dark profile (8 out of 10), this wet-processed (washed) coffee boasts an incredibly balanced, full-bodied cup. The palate is comforted by rich notes of warm cocoa, toasted nuts, and velvety caramel, elegantly rounded off by a sweet, lingering finish of raw sugarcane.
