Herbal Tea
Herbal tea (sometimes called phyto-tea or herbal infusion) is a beverage obtained by pouring hot water over various medicinal plants, their leaves, flowers, fruits, seeds or roots. Unlike traditional tea, herbal teas are not made from the leaves of the tea bush (Camellia sinensis), so most of them are naturally caffeine-free and do not have a stimulating effect on the nervous system (with the exception of specific plants such as guarana).
