Pu Erh, Pu Erh tea

€4.99

An exclusive and historically imperial aged dark tea from China's Yunnan Province. Renowned for its deep, full-bodied liquor, velvety texture, and a rich, complex profile of woody and earthy notes. A premium whole-leaf tea that can be re-steeped up to 3 times.

Pu-erh represents one of the most legendary, deeply complex, and highly revered teas in the global world of tea. This unique post-fermented tea is sourced from its historic homeland in the fabled Yunnan Province of China. In ancient times, it was an incredibly rare and exclusive commodity, highly prized by Chinese emperors and reserved for the imperial court. Its true distinction lies in a centuries-old fermentation and aging process, which allows the tea to evolve, developing a smoother and more refined character over time.

The liquor boasts an exceptionally rich flavor bouquet and a robust, unmistakable aroma highlighted by deep earthy, woody notes, hints of dried fruits, and warm autumn leaves. On the palate, it is full-bodied, velvety, and remarkably smooth, completely free from the harsh astringency or bitterness found in standard black teas. Pu-erh is also celebrated globally as an excellent wellness digestif. Due to the outstanding resilience of its whole leaves, it is perfectly suited for multiple consecutive infusions.

Ingredients: 100% aged Chinese dark Pu-erh tea (Shu Pu-erh).
